My brides visit the studio after having been to many bridal shops, trying on dozens of wedding dresses and are still struggling to find ‘The One’. They loved bits and pieces of different dresses but can’t find all of those elements in one dress. The one size fits all bridal look isn’t doing it for them, they need time and reflection to find a wedding dress that speaks to their unique style.
I can’t think of anything else I’d rather do than design custom wedding dresses.
Every dress is handmade on site by my small but mighty team. During one on one in studio fittings, a bride may have a gown made from their inspiration and ideas, have a gown skillfully tailored just for them from the studio collections or customize and make changes to an existing sample design.
During the initial consultation, we'll create a basic design. At the first cotton mock up fitting (muslin), the design is finessed and you'll choose fabrics. From then on, its detailing and sewing the dress perfectly.
The cost of an exclusive custom made wedding dress depends on the choice of fabric, silhouette and amount of detailing. The collection designs on the website are a guide for pricing and are for the gown as shown. A made to measure gown may be less, more or the same as an equivalent collection design depending on your design decisions.
